I moved to Maui around 1999 because for me it is the place to be if you want to become a pro. The conditions here, especially in the winter are unreal, the best thing about it is that you can be in the water everyday, sailing surfing or fishing, which is super important to me. I just watch the forecast the day before to plan my next day, or if not I just go down to the beach to check it out. I try to go at least 3 times a week to the gym, to keep fit and avoid getting hurt. When I’m not in Maui I usually go for trip, just to discover and ride new waves. I love this aspect of it, everything is new to you, and it’s very interesting as well because you learn a lot every time, about the culture and the history of the place. Plus changing atmosphere is always good too. I’m super happy about where I am now, in one way, I can say that my dream came true.
